I got five pound of ruby red grapefruit yesterday.  I ate one this morning, and they are delicious.  I love citrus season.  Louisiana only had satsumas which I wasn't super impressed by.  Yay Florida.

  1. I love papaya juice!! Dr. Oz said it somehow helps your system absorb the nutrients in other foods better, which is why I tried it.

    I have never heard of satsumas.

    I made bread yesterday. It was a complete disaster. But I think I've learned some valuable lessons for next time. I'll try again in two weeks. Next Saturday, I'm going to make those cookies!! I ordered the peanut powder, so I'm on my way. I couldn't find karob in the store, although that doesn't mean it wasn't there, so I talked to my dad and he said karob was just cheap chocolate and that I might as well use powdered chocolate. So when the peanut powder comes in I'm going to pick up some powdered chocolate and make some cookies! I'm very excited. I will take pictures :)

  2. Oh, I've heard the papaya thing. I had dinner with a friend once, and she made me eat a papaya extract pill afterwards because she said it would make me digest better or something.

    Making bread is easy! Did you try to make a yeast bread? Or something like banana/zucchini bread? I don't make bread often because I don't want to eat bread that often, but it's so delicious.
