Where did everybody go?

Somebody out there must be cooking or baking......I haven't though. ...just the usual stuff. I am due for a Trader Joe's run soon. I need some organic peanut butter, and they have it the cheapest around.

  1. Okay, well, I'm not prepared to put a picture of this up, but...I've been experimenting with the bean flour. I boil it for a couple minutes with water and spices. Then after it cools I cook it in the oven for ten minutes. Is this the usual way of making refried beans? Anyway, it doesn't really taste good, but this is the most palatable bean stuff I've had. Except for your bean burgers, Sharon, which I could never duplicate exactly because of a lack of patience. If anybody has any ideas about what to do with globs of cooked beans, I would like to hear them. So far I've mixed it with salsa, with chicken and put it on a roll. Those were all okay. Next I'm thinking of cooking rice and mixing it with that. Rice and beans, right? Haha, we'll see!!

  2. You have the patience for bean burgers!!! I know you can do it!!! We need someone proficient in Mexican or Spanish food. Please somebody help!!!! Oh, and by the way, what is bean flour?

  3. Bean flour is just dried beans ground up into flour. It's interesting to observe!
